A Stone Wall Installation

Our clients loved their home so much that rather than moving when they needed more room, they instead decided to add on to the existing home. The prairie-style design of the addition made our design work easy: we would build a council circle based on Native American council circles prevalent in the Midwest for thousands of years. All of the stones are meticulously hand-cut and set. The floor of the circle is flagstone; we chose many of these stones for their beautiful colors. The plantings are typical prairie-style plants: grasses and perennials that are low-maintenance and provide color throughout the year, while perfectly meshing with the council circle concept.
