A Covered Deck Installation

A simple home in a family neighborhood has become the place to gather! We added a three-level cedar deck, complete with travertine acting as steps and as a large “area rug” on the upper level. The overhead roof is designed with a hidden gutter system so as to not ruin the clean profile of the lines. (Notice the structural supports and large beams and also the hurricane clips that will keep this roof from lifting off in high winds.) Inside, a fan keeps the air moving and lighting built into crown molding subtlety lights the ceiling. Even Joey, the Boxer, has his own set of steps into his doggy door! Halfway through this project, the client opted to install a swimming pool; quick design and site coordination allowed us to keep the project on schedule and completed in time for fun times in summer.
