Shepherd Home

The Shepherd Home in Penfield, New York is a hospice for people in the final weeks of their time on Earth. We donated the design and all plantings and installation (installation help was provided by Gary Smith, a local friend and colleague). Our design created a meadow for the introduction of birds, butterflies and insects in lieu of a lawn. In your final hours, would you rather hear the sound of a lawn mower or the voice of a songbird?
