Butterfly Conservatory – Strong National Museum of Play

The first of its kind in New York, The Dancing Wings Butterfly Conservatory at the Strong-National Museum of Play is one of the many public gardens we have installed in recent years. Working closely with the museum staff, architects and general contractor, and under a severe time constraint, we were able to complete the project just in time for its new inhabitants to move in. We built and installed everything you see in the Conservatory, from the waterfalls and ponds (working with our new friend and landscape soul-brethren Rod Russel-Ides of Dallas, Texas), to the custom woodwork, to the plantings.
