Design Philosophy
Our design philosophy is simple: We want to create a garden or landscape that works for you.
Design tastes vary greatly. Every one of our clients has had significant input as to what we have created for them. However, if you give us free reign, you can be assured that we will design with the architecture of your home in mind. We appreciate and admire architecture and will always strive to work with it, rather than against it, provided that is what you want.
But, years of experience has taught us that it doesn’t matter what we like; it’s what you like that matters. Now, mind you, we aren’t going to create or install something that simply won’t work, and we will be the first ones to tell you whether it will or will not; but we will listen to you.
So, if you say that you want to build a retaining wall twenty feet tall, and you really like a particular product that should not be built over three feet tall, then we will need to talk. We will not always tell you what you want to hear, but we will always give you the best advice.
We will always tell you what we think, but we will not tell you what to do.
And we will create a landscape that works for you.
